GUARD
Chris Paul, Wake Forest
Paul led the Deacons to a huge ACC victory over in-state rival North Carolina on Saturday. The sophomore from the state of North Carolina scored 26 points, pulled down a half-dozen rebounds, and dished out eight assists in the victory. Paul also had five steals and made all nine of his free throws.
Runner-Up: Ronald Ross, Texas Tech - 27 points, 8 REB
GUARD
Taquan Dean, Louisville
Dean led the Cardinals to a huge road upset of CUSA rival Cincinnati on Saturday. The junior poured in 25 points and grabbed seven boards on the day. The New Jersey native made seven of his thirteen shots from behind the arc and also grabbed a steal as UL stormed back for the win.
Runner-Up: Salim Stoudamire, Arizona - 32 points, 11-16 FG
GUARD
Bryce Taylor, Oregon
Taylor was a monster in the Ducks' three-point victory at Washington State. The true freshman from Hollywood scored 26 of the team's 55 points on ten of fourteen shooting from the field. He was six of eight from downtown, dished out a couple of assists, and had two steals.
Runner-Up: Anthony Roberson, Florida - 30 points, 6-10 3PT
FORWARD
Hakim Warrick, Syracuse
Warrick led the Orange to a four-point road victory at Big East rival Providence. The senior totaled 25 points and pulled down a dozen boards as Syracuse slipped past the Friars. The Pennsylvania native also had a couple of steals and an assist and shot over 60% from the field.
Runner-Up: Brandon Bass, LSU - 29 points, 10 REB
FORWARD
Wayne Simien, Kansas
Simien aided the Jayhawks' effort as they went on the road and won at Colorado. The senior dumped in 23 points on the day and also collected 17 rebounds. The native of Kansas shot 50% from the field, made all but one of his free throws, and had a steal, an assist, and a blocked shot in the win.
Runner-Up: Luther Head, Illinois - 26 points, 4-8 3PT
