GUARD
Daniel Gibson, Texas
Gibson led the Longhorns to a huge Big XII victory over Oklahoma State on Monday. The freshman scored 27 points on 7 of 14 shooting and also pulled down 10 rebounds in the win. The Houston native was 3 of 8 from behind the arc, dished out four assists, and had three steals.
Runner-Up: Salim Stoudamire, Arizona : 27 PTS, 5-8 3PT
GUARD
Earnest Shelton, Alabama
Shelton led the Crimson Tide to a home blowout of SEC West rival Mississippi State. The senior rammed home 34 points on the evening, including 15 from three-point range. The Memphis native shot 13 of 22 from the field, pulled down five boards, and had a steal on Super Tuesday.
Runner-Up: Sammy Mejia, DePaul : 26 PTS, 3-4 3PT
GUARD
Von Wafer, Florida State
Wafer played a huge role in the Seminoles' upset victory over Wake Forest Tuesday evening. The sophomore scored 30 points on 10 of 18 shooting and made 7 of 12 shots from long distance. The Louisiana native also made three free-throws, had two rebounds, and had an assist and a steal.
Runner-Up: Dan Grunfield, Stanford : 25 PTS, 7 REB
FORWARD
Jared Dudley, Boston College
Dudley helped keep the Eagles unbeaten Wednesday night against Vilanova. The San Diego native poured in 36 points on 12 of 18 shooting from the field. Just a sophomore, Dudley made 11 of his 13 free-throw attempts, pulled down a half-dozen boards, and has four assists and three steals.
Runner-Up: Hakim Warrick, Syracuse : 25 PTS, 11 REB
FORWARD
Glen Davis, LSU
Davis helped the Tigers to a home SEC West victory over Arkansas on Wednesday. The true freshman accounted for 26 points on 8 of 12 shooting and made all but one of his 11 free-throw attempts. The Baton Rouge native also pulled down a stunning 18 rebounds in the overtime win.
Runner-Up: Shelden Williams, Duke : 30 PTS, 11-12 FG
