Wrapping up our preview of the just-begun 2008 college baseball season, the SCS.com staff has cast its vote for the top players in all the country, naming a total of 28 players to either our First or Second Team All-America squads. Vanderbilt leads the way with three players on the First Team, while Arizona and San Diego boast two players each. Dominic de la Osa, the Commodores' oustanding outfielder, was selected as the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, while Wildcats starting pitcher Preston Guilmet was chosen as the Preseason Pitcher of the Year. The SEC was also represented by Auburn newcomer Hunter Morris, who was selected as SCS.com's Preseason Freshman of the Year.
