SCS.COM ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO THE STAFF
SouthernCollegeSports.com is proud to announce the addition of two new staff writers this spring. Each will have specific responsibilties relating to college baseball and will contribute to the site's weekly Fab 15 ranking while also writing a once-a-week column pertaining to happenings all around the country. Ben, a 2001 graduate of the University of Arkansas, and Ed, who earned an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and is now pursuing his master's, will be joining the SCS.com staff and contributing the first of their weekly columns later this week.

Who are the top teams in the country this spring? As we look towards the start of the upcoming season, the SouthernCollegeSports.com staff has puts its collective head together to assemble a ranking of what we feel are the top teams in of America. Just fifteen squads have earned a spot in our prestigious Preseason Fab 15.

SCS.com PRESEASON ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
The SouthernCollegeSports.com staff comes together to compile a complete list of what we feel are the top college baseball players in the United States. Well over two dozen players from all around the nation earn honors as members of either the First or Second Team All-America squads as we near the start of the 2006 season.

SCS.com ONE ON ONE WITH MICHAEL AMBORT
SouthernCollegeSports.com takes a moment to chat baseball with the catcher from Lamar University. The Cardinals' First Team All-American was named the Hitter of the Year in the Southland Conference a season ago and has also been named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List leading up to the start of the 2006 season.

SCS.com ONE ON ONE WITH J.P. ARENCIBIA
The catcher from the University of Tennessee was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to talk baseball with SouthernCollegeSports.com. Arencibia, named a Freshman All-American and the SEC's Freshman of the Year after his first season with the Volunteers, has been named to the 2006 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List.

SCS.com ONE ON ONE WITH MAX SCHERZER
We at SCS.com had the privleged opportunity to chat baseball with the starting pitcher from the University of Missouri. The Tigers' First Team All-American was named the 2005 Big XII Conference Pitcher of the Year and has also been named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List leading up to the start of the season.

SCS.com ONE ON ONE WITH JIM NEGRYCH
For the second consecutive season, SouthernCollegeSports.com takes a few moments to chat baseball with the second baseman from the University of Pittsburgh. Named 2005 and 2006 Big East Preseason Player of the Year, the Panthers' infielder was named a First Team All-American following last season.

SCS.com ONE ON ONE WITH CHRIS COGHLAN
The SouthernCollegeSports.com editor took time to talk college baseball with the infielder from the University of Mississippi. After earning SEC All-Freshman honors in 2004, the Rebels' Coghlan was selected Second Team All-SEC a season ago and was recently named to the 2006 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List.

SCS.com ONE ON ONE WITH MITCH HILLIGOSS
SouthernCollegeSports.com had the pleasure of chatting college baseball with the infielder from Purdue University. The Boilermakers' First Team All-Big Ten selection has been named an All-American heading into the upcoming season, and he has also been selected to the 2006 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List.
