The SouthernCollegeSports.com staff has come together to select the 2006 Preseason All-America teams, recognizing well over two dozen of the country's best college baseball players. Included on the First Team are seven players who were unanimous selections. The ACC led the way with five First Team selections, while the Big XII followed with three. The SEC and PAC 10 had two each. Rice, ranked fifth in the preseason Fab 15 released last week, was the lone school to place multiple players on the First Team. Texas, ranked number one in the country, placed one player on both the First and Second Teams.
