The SouthernCollegeSports.com staff put its collective head together over the past few weeks and is now ready to reveal its postseason honors for the 2006 college baseball season. The staff has released its Postseaon All-America Team, as well as its choices for national player, coach, and freshman of the year honors. Vanderbilt's Pedro Alvarez was named the country's freshman of the year, while James Madison's Kellen Kulbacki was selected as the national player of the year. North Carolina head coach Mike Fox, meanwhile, was named this season's coach of the year.
