INTRODUCING ANDREW GLUCHOV...
I have been a fan of college sports for as long as I can remember. Originally growing up in the heart of Big Ten and MAC country, it was rather easy to get into the game.
As a child, I grew up rooting for The Ohio State University, who were the big boys of the state, and for my mother's alma mater, Kent State University. When I relocated from Ohio to Florida in 1997, I got a taste of Southern sports. My sister attended the University of Alabama, and that helped me get acquainted with the SEC as well as the Big Ten and MAC.
I am currently a 21 year old senior at the University of Central Florida majoring in management information systems, one of those majors where analyzing is a good thing. I am a member of the UCF Marching Knights and attend every football game as well as most basketball and many baseball games.
Being a fan is great but only if you understand the game. I have been playing organized sports since before elementary school and all the way up to high school. When injuries forced me to take it easy, I decided to continue playing on collegiate intramural as well as independent league levels.
For fun, some of my friends and I debate sports issues Around the Horn style.
