Thanks a lot for visiting SouthernCollegeSports.com. I am 18 years old and in high school. I started this website in the summer of 2001. It is dedicated totally to college sports, namely college football, basketball, and baseball.
I am a huge Mississippi State fan and have been all of my life. I love all sports but especially college sports. A few of my favorite memories from MSU sports history include the basketball team's trip to the Final Four in 1996, the 1998 football SEC Western Division championship season, the 1999 football season in which MSU had miraculous come-from-behind wins over Auburn, LSU, and Kentucky on their way to an 8-0 start to the season. That regular season was capped off by another miracle win over in-state rival Mississippi. The Bulldogs scored ten straight points in the final 50 seconds (without the aid of an on-sides kick) to allow MSU to overcome a seven-point deficit to claim the victory. One final memory that comes to mind is the 2000 football season in which MSU knocked off Florida and Auburn at home in consecutive weeks; the Gators were ranked 3rd in the country at the time, and Auburn was ranked in the top 15.
I have designed each and every page you will see on this site. It often takes long hours to keep the site up-to-date, but I enjoy it because it is a way to let others see my opinions and find information on college sports.
