A new system for picking the games
will be used for the bowls. Just like before, pick a winner for each game. No point spread
is involved as before; just pick the team you think will win the game. Then, you will
assign each bowl game a point value between 1 and 3. The Fiesta Bowl is the only game
you don’t assign a value to; it has already been given a 4-point value. That leaves 27 more
bowl games left. For those 27, assign each game a point value of 1, 2, or 3. You want to
accumulate as many winning points as possible while losing as few as you can. Therefore,
the more confident you feel about a game, the higher point value you want to give it. If
you win a 3-point game, you get credit for three points in the winning column. If you lose
a three-point game, you are given three points in the losing column. At the end of the
bowls, you record for the entire bowl season will be compiled with your record from the
regular season to complete the season standings. IMPORTANT: There are 27 games to
each be assigned a value of 1, 2 or 3. You must assign a 3 to exactly 9 games, a 2 to
exactly 9 games, and a 1 to exactly 9 games. Therefore, throughout the bowl season,
there will be a combined possibility of 58 points --> 4 + 27 (9x3) + 18 (9x2) + 9 (9x1). If
you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. I will be glad to explain anything
you don’t understand.
Please be sure to pick a winner in each of the 28 bowl games. Also, assign a value to
27 of the games, excluding the final bowl on the list, the Fiesta Bowl.
