TOP QUARTERBACK

Brady Quinn, Notre Dame

The senior out of Dublin, Ohio torched the Tennessee defense on Saturday. Quinn completed 20 of 33 passes for 295 yards and a trio of touchdowns as the Irish pulled away from the Vols and won the contest by a score of 41-21.

Runner-Up: Brian Johnson, Utah : 384 yards, 4 TD

TOP RUNNING BACK

Andre Hall, South Florida

The senior from St. Petersburg helped the Bulls knock off Rutgers on Saturday. Hall dashed for 168 yards on 35 carries, an average of nearly five yards per run, and scored three TDs in the 45-31 USF road victory.

Runner-Up: Gary Russell, Minnesota : 188 yards, 3 TD

TOP WIDE RECEIVER

Sam Hurd, Northern Illinois

The senior who hails from San Antonio, Texas helped lead the Huskies to a huge MAC win on the road at Central Michigan. Hurd hauled in a dozen passes for 266 yards (22.2 yards per catch) and a trio of touchdowns in the 31-28 win.

Runner-Up: Chris Francies, UTEP : 170 yards, 2 TD

TOP TEAM

Miami

All week, the talk had been about how might Virginia Tech slide up to number two in the BCS standings. The Hurricanes ended that discussion with authority on Saturday and now have BCS hopes of their own after the 27-7 win.

Runner-Up: Kansas - (W) 40-15 over Nebraska

TOP GAME

Florida over Vanderbilt

Commodore QB Jay Cutler tossed two touchdown passes in the final 2:17 of regulation to force overtime in Gainesville. The teams traded TDs in the first OT period, before a Gator interception ended Vanderbilt's hopes 49-42.

Runner-Up: Northwestern (28) over Iowa (27)

TOP UPSET

Arizona over UCLA

The Bruins had avoided upsets multiple times in the month of October, but they weren't as lucky in their first outing in November. The Wildcats and QB Willie Tuitama jumped out in front early and never looked back, winning 52-14.

Runner-Up: NC State (20) over Florida State (15)
