TOP QUARTERBACK

Joel Klatt, Colorado

The senior had a huge day as the Buffaloes dominated Texas A&M in Boulder on Saturday. Klatt completed 28 of 36 passes for 398 yards and a trio of TDs without an interception in the 41-20 CU victory.

Runner-Up: Brett Basanez, Northwestern

TOP RUNNING BACK

LenDale White, Southern Cal

The junior from Denver, Colorado had a career outing this past weekend. White ran two dozen times for 179 yards (7.5 YPC) and four touchdowns as the Trojans dismissed Arizona 42-21 in Los Angeles Saturday afternoon.

Runner-Up: Garrett Wolfe, Northern Illinois

TOP WIDE RECEIVER

Clinton Solomon, Iowa

The senior out of Fort Worth, Texas was QB Drew Tate's favorite target on Saturday. Solomon hauled in just five receptions but for 166 yards, an average of over 33 yards per catch, and a pair of TDs in the 34-17 win at Purdue.

Runner-Up: Greg Jennings, Western Michigan

Penn State

Projected to finish below .500 in the preseason by SCS.com, the Nittany Lions moved to 6-0 overall and now have sole possession of the Big Ten lead after downing Ohio State 17-10 in Happy Valley Saturday evening.

Runner-Up: Georgia and Texas

Ball State over Western Michigan

It took five OTs for the Cardinals to take down WMU 60-57. After the teams traded TDs in the first three extra periods and then failed to score in the fourth, BSU kicker Brian Jackson ended the longest game in MAC history in the fifth.

Runner-Up: UCLA over California

TOP UPSET

Baylor over Iowa State

The Bears won a Big XII road game for the first time ever, making it their sixth overall Big XII victory during the conference's ten-year existence. Baylor kicker Ryan Havens nailed a trio of field goals in the 23-13 win over the Cyclones.

Runner-Up: Stanford over Washington State
