SEC CLASH IN LEXINGTON TAKES THE STAGE
February 12, 2010

SCS.comFun fact of the week: Bryant is 0-25 and hasn’t scored 50 points in a game since January 28th. Why do you need to know this? You don’t. I have simply run out of interesting anecdotes to start my introductions. Thus, behold the Weekend Preview.

WEEKEND PREVIEW

GAME OF THE WEEK

Tennessee at Kentucky
Saturday 8 p.m.

Tennessee still has point guard issues—Kentucky clearly does not. That’ll be the difference in Lexington. That, and the fact that UK is the superior team (minor details).

Prediction: Kentucky 86, Tennessee 67

GAMES TO KEEP AN EYE ON

Maryland at Duke
Saturday 12 p.m.

If Maryland somehow makes it out of Snowmageddon, a tough challenge awaits it in Durham.

Prediction: Duke 76, Maryland 62

Missouri at Baylor
Saturday 12:45 p.m.

A win at Baylor for MU would make up for a few earlier road losses at Oral Roberts and Oklahoma.

Prediction: Baylor 83, Missouri 72

UNLV at San Diego State
Saturday 3 p.m.

UNLV couldn’t defend its home court in a loss against New Mexico this week.

Prediction: San Diego State 67, UNLV 62

Xavier at Florida
Saturday 5 p.m.

Why are Xavier and Florida playing a non-conference game in the middle of February? Not sure, but I’m glad they are.

Prediction: Florida 69, Xavier 65

Last week’s prediction record: 5-4
Overall prediction record: 117-69
