GUARD
Richard Roby, Colorado
Roby had a huge game as Colorado upset Big XII rival Texas on Tuesday evening. The freshman rammed home 22 points in the victory and was 7 of 9 from the field. The San Bernardino, CA native was a perfect six of six from the charity stripe and also pulled down 9 boards, had three blocks, and dished out a couple of assists.
Runner-Up: Kammron Taylor, Wisconsin : 26 PTS, 3-4 3PT
GUARD
Darius Washington, Jr., Memphis
Washington played a huge part in the Tigers' upset victory on the road at Louisville Wednesday night. The true freshman from Orlando poured in 25 points against Pitino's squad and was 8 of 14 from the floor against the Cardinals. Washington also dished out five assists and pulled down five rebounds in the win.
Runner-Up: Salim Stoudamire, Arizona : 26 PTS, 5-7 3PT
GUARD
Chris Hill, Michigan State
Hill had a fabulous shooting night on Wednesday as the Spartans took down Big Ten rival Ohio State. The senior totaled 26 points on the evening and was an astounding 8 of 10 shooting, including 6 of 7 from downtown. The Indianapolis native also had three assists, pulled down one rebound, and grabbed one steal.
Runner-Up: Colin Falls, Notre Dame : 23 PTS, 7-12 3PT
FORWARD
Dijon Thompson, UCLA
Thompson led the Bruins to a home conference victory over Arizona State on Thursday. The senior poured in 39 points on the evening thanks to 13 of 18 shooting from the field. The Redondo Beach native connected on 7 of his 9 three-point attempts, pulled down six boards, dished out five assists, and had a trio of steals.
Runner-Up: Rodney Carney, Memphis : 24 PTS, 5 REB
FORWARD
Wayne Simien, Kansas
Simien, a top candidate for All-American honors, scored 23 points as the Jayhawks picked up a Big XII victory over in-state rival Kansas State Wednesday night. The senior shot 50% from the floor and also pulled down 13 rebounds in the contest. The Leavenworth, KS native also picked up a block, a steal, and two assists.
Runner-Up: Nick Caner-Medley, Maryland : 21 PTS, 7 REB
