Illinois sophomore guard Dee Brown had a spectacular week in leading the Illini to two huge victories. At Iowa, Brown nearly recorded a triple-double, scoring 18 points, dishing out 10 assists, and pulling down 7 rebounds with only one turnover. The Maywood, IL native then tallied a game-high 20 points on 5-7 three-point shooting against Northwestern.

RYAN GOMES

Providence junior forward Ryan Gomes helped the Friars to two wins last week. In a big road win at Notre Dame, Gomes scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. The Connecticut native then tallied 19 points and 11 boards against Northwestern. Against the Wildcats, Gomes also had a team-high three steals in the victory.

Wake Forest sophomore guard Justin Gray helped the Demon Deacons capture two crucial ACC wins. Against Florida State, Gray scored a career-high 31 points, including 5 three-point shots. The Charlotte native then tallied 22 points in a road victory at Maryland. Again, the sophomore scored five three-point field goals.
