January 27, 2006

SCS.com SCS.com has released its 2006 Preseason College Baseball Fab 15, featuring four of last summer's eight College World Series participants. Last year's national champions, the Texas Longhorns, start the season atop the poll and are followed by Georgia Tech, Cal State-Fullerton, Florida, and Rice. The Gators were the runner-up to UT in Omaha last spring. Three Pac-10 teams, including both Oregon State and Arizona State who played in the CWS a year ago, are also among America's top fifteen teams this season. All total, the preseason ranking features four teams from both the SEC and ACC, two from the Big XII, and one each from Conference USA and the West Coast Conference.
